Itinerary

1. Day 1

   Arusha / Moshi / Kilimanjaro Airport → Tarangire National Park

   After an early morning pickup from your hotel in Arusha, Moshi, or Kilimanjaro International Airport, begin your Tanzania safari adventure with a scenic drive to Tarangire National Park. Known as the “Land of Giants,” Tarangire boasts some of the largest elephant populations in Africa, as well as giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffalo, lions, and leopards. Enjoy a full game drive through the park, exploring riverbeds, open savannah, and iconic baobab landscapes while spotting wildlife in their natural habitat. A picnic lunch will be served inside the park at a designated viewpoint. In the late afternoon, depart Tarangire and drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area for dinner and overnight at your lodge or tented camp with spectacular views.

2. Day 2

   Ngorongoro Crater Game Drive → Return to Arusha

   After an early breakfast, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, one of the most extraordinary wildlife destinations in the world and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This natural amphitheater is home to an incredible density of wildlife, offering excellent chances to spot the Big Five—lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard, and the rare black rhinoceros—all in one game drive. Spend the morning exploring the crater floor, visiting hippo pools, open grasslands, and soda lakes where flamingos often gather. Enjoy a picnic lunch beside a scenic lake before ascending the crater walls. In the afternoon, drive back to Arusha, arriving in the early evening, marking the end of your 2-day Tanzania safari.
